Good luck relying on your speed with your 35 range 450 hp minipanther

thats the point of it.... get in close with speed , panther armor will give you front survivability for rushing  , and circle kill.

more hp or range would make it OP.

It's what PE do, get close and fast.

for circling ofcourse no ,  but when you rush from front which tanks do often.

Think of it as slower , better armor m10.

how about give the upgunned hotchkiss an m10 type gun...could be interesting...ofc it would still be weaker...but would pack a good punch then.

for the price hotch has currently a m10 gun would be OP,  upping then price on hotch to balance it out would be pointless because the platform is weak overall and it would be price for medium tank but the platform would just still be a light tank with good gun.

My tank that i suggested has what you want , and what is needed for PE.

They would even be fine with a PIII with somewhere between a gun similar to a 50mm Puma but with slightly higher damage TBH.

550-600hp

P4 Armor

Skirts and top MG

50mm gun that does something like 72.5 damage. Slightly higher RoF than P4.

Fills in both as light AT and Light AI. Higher accel than the Sherman or P4, similar speed. Also, combined with a Marder or some other mobile PE support it could easily fill in as a MBT.

but having another dual AI AT p4 is booooooooooooring ,

it should be something thrilling , something you'd want to play , and playing another p4 in a p3 skin i'd fall asleep Tongue

If it's a solid solution to a problem, it should be put in, regardless of whether it's "boring" or not. Trying to do anything super-special-creative will result in a cool unit that's shit and doesn't solve the problem. For example, trying to make an Axis unit designed to circle Allied tanks, who all have turrets with a fast enough rotation speed to keep up with a 6 speed tank circling them, and who all have supporting infantry with disablers. The only disabler PE has comes on an expensive platform designed just to do that, whereas allied factions can have a disabler on every one of their mainline troops.

not only that , but having a front panther armor you can go head to head vs any allied tank (excluding persh and firefly) and kill it,
allied counter is to kite it ,cause of 35 range.
There are many ways to use this tank.

An M10 would also counter it, being faster and having a 10 range advantage. I wouldn't say there are "many" ways to use this unit, because circling is simply not an option when it doesn't actually do anything against the allies.

Nonetheless, if it had good enough frontal penetration I wouldn't mind using it. It's not a bad idea, just the concept of circling anything with it should be thrown out.

That's the intention so its not OP and can be countered also.

This depends solely on player on how he will use it.

And allies can be circled also,,, i circle kill m10s with slow ass ist.

Sounds like you were playing noobs tbh, I don't see how you can let yourself get circled by a tank slower than you when you have a 15 range advantage and a good rotation speed.

I used 4 Light AT Halftracks in my old company, they're not really worth the price because they can only hurt units every 30 out of 300 270 seconds and other than that you're paying 95 75 munitions 60 fuel for a unit made just for disabling, that's still inferior to the other 2 disablers which are also cheaper and can actually do other things. They're not useless but it's hard to justify spending that many resources on a vehicle that does barely anything.

I like them. For 9 pop you get the temporary firepower of 3 snipers. Especially effective against vetted Infantry. lol

For their pop they're extremely efficient and handy to have on the field. When you KNOW an m10 rush is coming, these bad boys make sure it won't be a worry for you. I mainly posted it due to use vs pershings. If you can temporarily damage the engine of a pershing, then you've avoided it for a bit longer and will hopefully be able to creep AT on it while it's slowly retreating.

The cost can be justified if you compare it to a G43 squad or something, LATHT's will get 5-10 inf kills as well as help out your AT on field, whereas a G43 squad isn't likely to get this many kills and is food for anything more than riflemen.
