Well.

Some have to agree that EiR:R is Loads of fun.

But are there some people like me, who want a pure EiR game?

Where u get your units, train and play with them. With out the off maps.
Last game was sick. One guy, bitt. Had 6 off maps... One guy... Just wow...

There should be like a pure mode, where off maps are not used.

no offmaps, no doctrines buffs, nothing.

fun modes would also be cool like before the battle you make the company of your teammate (you dont know who your teammate is yet)
or even the armies of the opponents lmao.

no...our team had 6 offmaps 2 of those where lt arty strikes and the other 4 failed to kill anything more than a decrewed nebel

its not a PURE game without off maps, that is OMG, not EIR.  there was NEVER a time in EIR (original) that didn't have Offmaps that I remember.  there was a segment in EIRR that didn't have offmaps, while we added in the new factions at the very start.

you guys do realize what happens when you remove off maps thou right?  Spam is even harder to counter then it currently is.  Imagine a support weapon spam with zero off maps!

no offmaps in eir happen all the time. just after a reset. it are those moments i enjoy eir the most.

Use mortars, snipers, and on-map artillery? That's what I do, because I have zero offmaps. Every allied doctrine except for AB has on map arty, and AB has its own sniper and mortar if it's any consolation. It's not like AB are currently relying on bombing run to keep support weapons away. Every Axis doctrine has on-map arty too.

I seldom pick offmaps, because I know that offmaps are usually not guaranteed, and whatever I get instead of a risky offmap will help me throw down the tyrants and name myself Conan in their place. Though I do love having offmaps present, they are handy.

a *pure* mode would be fun but i dont understand how no off maps is pure mode.

tbh, if you want a pure mode, then all vehicles unlocks need to come free if u use it because the allies more than any side will need on map artillery if they can't have off maps. At least the americans cuz the brits get the 25, wehr will get their nebels, PE hotch stuka but amis will be shit for luck

I can see where you guys are coming from with the idea of a "pure mode," but I don't know how fun that would be after the first couple of weeks. The mmo factor of choosing abilities and leveling up a company is much more fun to get involved with imo. Players can structure their whole companies to a specific playstyle, plus I like all the battle advantages and passive buff auras from officers and halftracks.

or,we add more off maps,but make em less devastating,so you have more dinamic battlefield,stukas screaming over the field constantly,bombers flying over etc. ...but they dont kill as much as they do now,are less acurate etc...thats why u have many of them...

someones offmaps get a little ridiculous especially the fact that some company can get more then one type. and if you have alot of TP you can load em up and its like having an extra army behind you. offmaps are way too effective and need to be toned down just a bit to reduce thier absoloute destruction, yea sometimes they miss, but if used properly which is what most players do... They dont miss.

There will be situations in the warmap where offmaps will be disabled (weather for airborne strafes etc - no airdrops either) and other related situations.

It wont be what you request, but it will happen
