A member of my clan has a problem where he tries to either host a game or connect to a game with other human players but it fails cos it says 'cannot connect to all players in the game'.
He can connect to some ppl but not others its really random!. If he fails to connect with one person then that person always fails. He has tried to forward all his ports but this hasnt helped and also tried to turn off his firewall.
He is using a BT HomeHub.
Please if anyone has an answer we would be very happy as he wants to be able to enjoy vCoH and EiR.

Thanks alot

Sadly but true this is an issue you have to expect when using relic online. It sometimes effects more sometimes less, sometimes everyone and sometimes noone and there is no real solution for this. You can only try to condemn this problem by port forwarding, shutting down firewalls, closing anti virus software and all other bs that could probably use your bandwith otherwise.

We r fairly sure its the HomeHub cos he didnt hav this problem b4.
Also he can connect to every1 else in the clan expect 1 person and only this person!. And it happens everytime he tries!.

If there is no way round it he will either hav 2 change his router or not play CoH/EiR online Undecided

If that doesn't work then you can use hamachi.

In case you don't know: It's a fantastic little tool for setting up a Virtual Private Network.  You can get it from here:

Get it at https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/vpn.asp.

Dante_Chance - Thanks but he has tried port forwarding and the static IP thing Undecided

DasGuntLord01 - Yeah we use Hamachi for vCoH and he can connect 2 the person he normally cant connect to in online vCoH. I didnt know u could use it for EiR?

Of course you can.  Cheesy  Just make sure you set your LAN name correctly.  Make sure it's exactly the same as your Relic Online Profile name.

I play LAN and Hamachi games all the time, and we run into no problems. Cheesy
