Allow an upgrade to choice of MP40 or MP44?
Maybe allow a "buff" only officer (no mortar arty) at cheaper MU cost which can upg to Mp40 or Mp44?

I see potential for abuse with a cheaper officer, with that middle T3 he is much more potent than other officers IIRC. Cheap Officer spam could get ridiculous.

Anyone happen to know the exact buffs of Lt, Officer, and US Officer?

Defensive Officer deals +25% accuracy and +20% damage to any unit he supervises, but only with the single-unit buffs.
The aura buff he gets as a T3 is actually much worse, but can obviously buff multiple units. Not sure on the exacts.

Brit Lt deals something like +25% accuracy, and -10% reload IIRC (don't quote me on this).

US Officer is something like +15% accuracy, -12% received suppression (but again, don't quote me on that).

Oh, I didn't realise his t3 was a lesser buff. Nevermind then.

We did give him an MP44 at vet 2 at one point. It was just judged that the luger was better with it's high crit chances.

But, I want that fucking colt 45. back for the US officer. Best Handgun EVAR!

Now that the luger has been reverted to it's original strength (I.E. it doesn't shoot 5 times faster than it should have been), I'd actually rather grab an MP44 Tongue.

MP44 is OVERUSED! Add in crappy Mp40. It is like American officer afterwards. can roflstomp Rifles if they rush him while he stands in heavy cover

One is easy to escape (you move, it takes a few seconds to come down), the other means the ENTIRE enemy force can advance without having to worry about damage or suppression, giving them field position and winning the fight.

the smoke is alot better than that damm mortar strike but i still would like to have the officers on different timers instead of having the same timer for all of them.

Cooldown is way better this way. Trust me

Well actually I'm all for having individual timers back. I loved spamming that shit Cheesy

Oh and in addition to what AmPM said, smoke is also a lot more versatile. While arty is limited to hitting static positions (and even then it's not guaranteed), smoke can also be used in both defensive and offensives roles. Smoke can protect your units against anything except fire and grenade, arty will only hit slow moving units or bad players. Smoke can also be used to take out a spread out defensive lime at the same time by letting, arty can only hit one at a time. Smoke has a lower cooldown and costs less (50muns as opposed to 170mun). Smoke is also more consistent, as long as the smoke is there you can move in and benefit from it whereas with arty the enemy has to be sitting underneath it for any benefit.

Icelandic if you can convince the devs to bring back individual timers I will be the happiest inf player in the world. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen. Officerspam with nade riflemen and flamers was god damn invincible
