Quick query, in ingame battles, when my infantry capture bazookas, machine guns, or AT guns after the battle do I get to keep those units?

no sir, all units revert to their normal website status when they return from battle, i believe even picking up a second panzershrek on a shrek squad SHOULD still return them to their base status as per the website.

can't confirm that personally.

use to be you could capture MGs and Mortars and sometimes an ATgun.  but i noticed they changed things so im not completely sure its even doable that way anymore.

Why is this?. Surely a captured weapon should stay with that sqaud?.

Uber squads are bad for gameplay, its hard to code, and 'realistically speaking' you wouldn't have much ammo for your captured gun anyway.

You still keep captured and recrewed heavy weapons teams, I think. Not positive.

Ok. Im just thinking about the infantry weapon aspect. With a max weapon slot of 2 per sqaud surely they wont be that 'uber'?

Rangers can all carry heavy weapons. I can imagine a 6 Panzershrek Ranger squad that makes Tiger Aces cry or a 6 BAR/LMG42 Ranger squad that gives a new meaning to the term anti-infantry.

I would be really cool if you could keep Axis heavy weapons though. I want a Nebelwerfer, Paks, and MG42s in my army.

I think if you re-crew weapons that are from your faction (ie .30cals, 57mms for the allies, MG42s, Pak38s, and Nebs for the axis) then you get to keep them.  Otherwise they disappear.
