Heavily urban! Like Arnhem style buildings... With two large highways that intersect in the middle. Like an X. Little parks here and there. And all of it untouched by warfare...till the battle starts. It'd be fun to see a pretty little town get turned to total shit by the end. Kinda like what'd always happen in Bastion. But fuck that map.

I don't have pictures. Use artistic license to create something period/location appropriate that looks it could be an actual European city circa 1944. We've all seen the documentaries. You shouldn't need pictures by this point  Grin

I'd say all inspiration lies in Eastern fronts Berlin 8p map.

Actually, to my knowledge that's actually OMG's Berlin map, and in the thread for it Apex asked if he could use it for EF. However, they simply said 'we'll get back to you' in the thread, so he might not have gotten permission and a different Berlin was made for EF. I dunno. But it seems likely EF got it from OMG.

Speaking of which, OMG's Berlin looks really good. Maybe a dev could ask if we could use it in EiRR?

Anyone even considered "remaking" some of World of Tanks maps? Smiley

Yes actually, I made a basic Himmelsdorf. Not playable at all though, and I'm not going to bother making it so.

i want to create a map that doesn't have a lot of buildings but it's been absolutely ravaged by artillery.

also want to create a stand off map, kinda like the battle of two cities and you come in from two sides that have buildings at the start and there's a city in the middle and its like you're battling for that one city.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.
