My first map, hill 216, is released in beta.

Description
The Germans have dug themselves in at the top of a large and defendable hill.  The Americans have come to take this hill and deployed defensive positions at the base of the hill.  The Germans have 2 options, they an either sit tight and hope their defences hold firm, or they an attack the Americans in a Pre-emptive strike.  Both options have a good chance to succeed if the Americans do not react accordingly.  This battle may not end tonight.

Installation
Download from
http://files.filefront.com/4p_hill216rar/;6859993;;
extract the file into "C:\Documents and Settings\>your_username<\My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\WW2\Scenarios"-folder."
If the folder doesnt exists, you will need to create it.

Notes
This map has been made specifically for Europe in ruins mod, it will not work very well in Vanilla CoH as there are no fuel or munitions points.

This is my first map i ahve spent alot of time on, feedback would be nice (good and bad of course)

Expext to see another map from me soon, more info about this coming soon

WOOT first post

I'm going to try working on a Rhine River map and a Caen map, as well as some open fields and farms.  I'm new at it, so it may take a while.

Added to the database, if possible, try to add some screenshots.
(Thumbnails or links to them would be great.)

Thanks!
I'll check this out sometime in the future.

- The map was very dark to me. Couldn't see anything out of LOS.

- It seems like it's too chokey by the long ridge that spans almost the whole map.

- Due to the size of the map, I think adding the possibility for 3v3 play as well could be wise.

- The layout, especially the tanktraps seems a bit gamey, but as a gamer I don't mind.

- Overall good work. Looking forward to 'retail' version.

i based it on some real pictures of hills heavily defended by the germans, they deployed the tank blockades to funnel enemy tanks into lines of fire for at guns.  Im removing a few of the tank traps, there do seem to be too many.

Im trying to change the brightness but cant get it to where i want.

there are many ways to get up the different ridges, maybe some of the ridges need shortening.

I was thinking of adding more players to it but have not tried it yet.

The filefront link is not working for me, and I can't find the file searching through filefront.  I'd really like to download this map but I can't get to it Sad
