It seems i lag most of my games but i usually only drop when im playing with germans(APex) or aussies......im thinking its my shitty pc with a radion 1300, 1GB DDR2, 3.0Ghz pent D and stock intel mobo Im looking at upgrading to some thing along this nature and i was wondering about opinons....i have about $1,500 in my pocket $1000 in my savings, and maybe some xtra cash from parents but this is what im looking at getting.. opinions granted plz... http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3194777http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2665770&CatId=2541i AM NOT sureon the case but i might consider liquid cooling due to the high noise output of my antec 900 case I am looking for opinons on ram and cases mainly and hopefully by the end of the month ill be lag free!! |

1. Move to sweden 2. Get swedish 100mbit broadband 3. Buy new computer to play with 100mbit 4. Happy!  Seriously CPUs, or processors or whatever you call them = Dont need in the terms of gaming Bet ALL your money on a 8800GTX and 2GB ram with 800Mhz Anything sept a 750W is of no-need in the terms of gaming. You do not need a fucking Intel Quadcore 2k5 when you want to play games...  |

dont go overboard. For COH, any Dualcore, 2 GB RAM, and any video card over $100 (as well as most under $100) will run it very well in DX9.

My panda anti-virus used to give me unplayable lag in 2vs2's and beyond. I threw it off my computer and the issue was fixed! Damn pandas . |

I've never used an anti virus or firewall and I've never had any issues. I keep my copy of windows up to date, and I don't download shady software. |

Thats what i have now and i have to turn everything to low in order to play..wiat i only have 1 gb of ram but its basically the same...besides i need something new i dont just play COH i do a lot of video and picture editing too hence quadcore... from the stuff i see 8800s are like $400 and up 660 seems like a good price for a quadcore and a 8800 to me i dont know about u....also if i make a new computer keep in mind its not just for COH...i made that mistake last time when i made my cod computer (the one i have now) i can run cod on full setting but i no longer play that game and play coh instead |

I picked up a 8800 GTS 320mb for $USD290 + $20 rebate. so you can get them for cheaper.
game looks amazing in dx10 btw.
