So can a StuG, and yes I've seen it
but its more likely with tigers because of a higher splash. they have a horrible habit of taking out 3 and 4 men at a time. taking out whole hmg and mortar squads in one hit decrewing at guns by firing at the front of them. tigers can be quite annoying...especially when u plink a shot off the back of one

"I want proof!"
"I have proof!"
"Whatever, I'm still right"
Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

You do know that the Pershing does the same thing right.

except that pershings have more counters on the axis side than tigers on the allied side. once u take out allied at guns, tigers can pretty much roam free unless there's zooks or rr's around

You mean, ATGs, M10's, Fireflies, bren carrier + PIAT, cloaked M18's, Pershings, etc right. On top of that you have Stickies to keep the Tigers from rushing your lines.

Marders, Jagdpanther, Tigers, King Tigers, Cloaked storms, teller mines, ATG's, Panthers, Magnetic AT grenades, Pak 40's, Flak 88's,
^ Lets not pretend like Axis counters to heavies are worse than Allied counters. Sure, allies have counters that slow heavies, but it's necessary to compensate for what Americans lack.
With doctrine buffs such as HVAP Americans can stand a better chance, but for any Inf or AB company, if you want to efficiently destroy a Tiger/KT/Panther then it's just ATG's, m10's and m18's. With Tigers and KT's one shotting crews of ATG's, this can be frustrating as you can imagine.

More types of counters does not mean more effective or economical counters.
57mm/PaK and M10 are probably the most efficient.

you mean to tell me storms are a more economical counter? or a jagd or tiger, or king tiger.
toe to toe the pershing can only beat anything thats a panther and below, after that you've got the jagd, tiger and king tiger, where the jagd is faster, has more armor a stronger run and longer range and if the user is smart does not allow the pershing to stafe it, which because of its speed is relatively easy.
tigers and kts are obvious, stronger armor, gun.
The fact is that the axis are so much better at engaging tanks at range than the allies are. After a pershing tanks out a pak, he still has to be on the look out for fausts and schrecks and storms and panthers and tigers, marders, 50mm HTs, hotchkiss. While once you get past a 57 with a Tiger, you just have to be on the look out for stickies which have to be very close to throw and they're basically suiciding a unit to cripple the tank.
It's easy enough to just look on the leaderboard, 3 pershings, none are vet 3.
oh look, whats that at the top of the wehr leaderboard? 4 tigers, 1-4 3 of them vet 3, 2 of those with over 1,000 xp.
there are 9 total pershings with vet 2 and above, 11 tigers and they both take the same amount of xp to level up.

100% hypocritical ftw?
lol.
It is the truth Killer :p there aren't many replays that doesn't show a Tiger getting stickied by vet 2 squad or a random vanilla riflesquad. Every replay posted pretty much has a sock in Tiger's wheels killing its engine.
Tiger's long range accuracy sucks, it only dances with the nice love of the splash and HEAT isn't improving it much at all.
Either way the list AmPm had mentioned pretty much contains all the effective counters to a tiger. Pershing is known to one shoot squads of infantry and pounce pak shells (If the pak isn't pak40 that is), plus pershings are hell lot harder to fight vs than Tigers have ever been. A game with 6 Tigers is far easier than a game with 6 pershings

Because a forum post should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.

That doesn't make any sense. A Tiger getting stickied is very rare. Pershing and Tiger are almost identical. A supported heavy tank is hard to fight no matter what side it's on.
It all comes down to good all fashioned micro.
And as far as AT goes, Axis are somewhat superior. I'd take 88s, ninja paks and shreck storms over fireflies and piats any day.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.
