Idk what to do.  Anyone have any ideas for a 1min opening to a shoutcast? My old one was a build up driven focus on action. Fade in, action, fade out. I got the same song but idk if i wanna do it again with reshot video. Maybe something "Band o' Brothers" Style (even tho that's been done to death.) You got a cool battle type opening youtubey video that you like, post it here so I can get some inspiration. |

If you ever saw DER UNTERGANG's menu on DVD, it's REALLY REALLY good soundtrack there.
A instrumental thats really sad and you can hear bombs falling and distant shooting.
I've been wanting to show eir this song, i'll see if i can rip it.

I think he's asking for ideas beyond music, I'm not the creative type so I'm afraid I can't help you yeah. BoB opening would be epic, but like you said that's already been done  It could be cool if the players are introduced in the intro |

We need something slow. Always slow in the begining otherwise its just bullcrap. See just like infantry running across the fields and around walls and streets. We as well need something like a idle tank staring off to the distance or at the camera. A rolling tank that gets ambushed by a PAK38 OR PAK40- in this case PAK40 would strike more power within the audience- after all its a new unit right?
Then we need all kinds of action, tanks shooting at infantry and HMGs blazing their lead into masses. Nebelwerfers firing a volley. A Picture of city in flames and fatally wounded infantry squirming on the ground. We need a firefly shooting a Tiger from a distance (Preference is that the Tiger is KO'd from that shot). A StuG with keep it moving and infantry running next to it coming right toward the Camera...perhaps the epic finishing shot before EIRR tag comes from the barrel of...KT, Tiger, Firefly or Pershing's. To strike the audience the highest preference comes with either Tiger or King Tiger. The music should be slowish at the beginning and then increase into a loud chorus around the end parts with a epic finishing.

You should consider trying some film grain I liked this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4edDgFglSusMusic's maybe not perfect, but I like the slow opening and then BOOM it explodes. (Would be cool if it starts slow, then a nebel baterry or any artillery group opens fire and then combat footage. During this you could slow the images or freeze shots to display player names) And I agree people will probably be happy to see new units in play. (And stuff like stuka dive bomber, etc) |

Lol, you kidding me? How can I put tanks and explosions to jazzy drum and trumpet? I can do alot with the johnny quest one. It has a good build up with lots of aggressive cords and areas for "heroic" footage. (mainly the no bass soft sweeping cords) |
