I've taken a look at Defensive Positions in the Defensive doctrine because I was interested in purchasing it... until I noticed that the most significant buff (+20% accuracy hmg, infantry, sniper) only applied to garrison/trench cover. Steady sights for US infantry is a tier 2 and provides 15 percent accuracy for infantry in any cover. I know very well that axis infantry are different than US infantry, plus that this buff applies to HMGs, but this is a tier 3.. not a tier 2. There is almost no incentive to choose this tier 3, but if it were changed to all cover, I would get it. Sure it would be powerful... but it's a tier 3.

This is a polite request to change the buff to all cover due to the fact that it would make it a stronger tier 3 unlock and worth getting.

I've repeatedly pointed this out, and I hope this change does take place, as it stands its a very weak T3 compared to a much stronger T2 from the allied side.  If it has to be limited, then don't count light cover but heavy cover if nothing else, as honestly there are maps with no buildings and preferring to stay mobile and make use of existing and natural cover (trees, stone walls), I don't see how this request is far-fetched.

the 20% bonus only work in G/t, yes, but the -12% receive accuracy work on all the cover. the combined bonus you get in garrison and T are much more powerful than the accuracy steady sight provide.

Plus The officer provide a +25% accuracy and +20% damage on vehicle he's supervising, and it work on your teammate's vehicle. Try using it on a tiger or marder. Pretty sure 88mm count as vehicle.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925
