What about the point we gather in game is used as exp to rank up your company instead of set xp. e.g i get 26000xp in my game so that goes towards my company. the better and more kills you get the faster you rankup your company

Terrible idea, it would just promote those people to snipe kills even more. Nothing like whitling down an enemy tank, then having someone jump in and steal the kill. Then afterwards gloat about how he did all the work.

No, its a great idea, if it weren't the fact that your 'team' would start stealing your kills, which could mean 1000's of xp's stolen from you, which in turn breaks down all semblance of team play

Then rank it on team results - rather than single players.

The single players get their bonuses from unit xp.

It's not about ranks now that we only have lvl 5 to lvl 9, it's just player skill levels.

actually that's not a bad idea if it's able to be tracked to the server. instead of some seemngly random xp gain, you actually gain xp by what you do in game. that way even if you win if you sucked you don't get much xp and even if you lose but you do well you can gain a lot of xp.

maybe winners get 1.2 or something of the net xp gain just so they feel like they gained something by winning.

i could see this potentially being the best system imo.

and how to balance axis compared to allies? axis inf squads are tinier and tanks are heavier. but axis could just as well spam pivs or stugs.


but maybe it is possible to check which units got killed? since the companies are saved in the launcher. would work for tanks, not sure about inf though.

true. would have to track every game played and see how much is gained.

also thouught of another loop hole but at the same time not too bad really. the larger the game, the more xp can be gained because more targets to be killed, so a 3v3 or a 4v4 will get more than a 2v2 but...that's not such a bad thing, i know some people have always wanted more gain for a bigger game as they're not only more fun but also more difficult to win.

the beginning stages of this is already implemented with the intel screen.

so, a lot of games get about 10,000 to 30,000 points, maybe make it like 100,000 points per level and a full coy tops out at a million...that just sounds cool Cheesy (my account has a million freakin points!)

haha leaderboard would maybe need to be expanded, as its only into the 1,000's now, can u imagine what it looks like in the millions.

another advantage of this is when you do look at the leaderboard, based on how many xp they have, you can truly see how good they are.

would love to have infantry kills/death, and vehicles kills/death and kdr tracked as well onto leaderboard.
