The brit MG insta pin ability should be looked into.

EIR should not have 1 button abilities that give insta effects. (insta pin in this case)

It's there to compensate for the shoddy suppression on the base unit, basically you get an mg42 type suppression but only timed and on cooldown.

By that logic the mg42 would constantly have its 'win button' turned on.

It kinda is when you think of it. 1 British MG can render any possible attack useless. Hell it even suppresses infantry in heavy cover with its heavy SF fire. It sure is a lul tool.

Yes, because inf gets pinned and suppressed meaning you cannot do anything else with it but die.

AFAIK the US mg and mg42 are not capable of unleashing such a fast pin AND the brit one does more damage than mg42.


I blame the pin button.

The US MG is total shit, the Wehr one makes up for range and good suppression against basic inf and to a lesser extent elite infantry.

The British one I do agree is pretty powerful.  The ability to RED PIN a squad INSTANTLY for its crappy base damage and suppression is just wicked.  My British army has more than 12 of these guys backed up by piats, I don't use any brens or anti-inf squads because I can call in non stop vickers to neuter infantry.  And I want you to kill my vicker crews, you know why?  Once you kill the crew and I reman it, it resets the bloody cooldown so I can instant pin you again.

The Vickers is by far the best MG out of all factions (wehr being 2nd).  Not sure if that is an issue or not, but it keeps my Brits alive and I don't need to actually rely on killing infantry with squads or tanks because of it.  I do wish the US MG was looked into to be something useful though and not be a bitch stepchild that is the only MG to not do its job. XD

Meh the US MG suppresses at 2-3 bursts, plus US gets the Bar rifle with suppression that axis doesn't get.
