To clarify what I meant earlier:

Leaving just hurts the mod, and the mod isn't the problem.

The balance team is, however, but retreating wont solve the problem of their shenanigans. It will only ultimately make the mod more likely to die.

I say let the people ruining EiR be the ones to leave, not those of us who just want to enjoy it.


So don't go off because you're unhappy with the way balance is working right now (or, quite frankly, not working at all). Fight on, your voices are being heard. It just takes a while to wipe away the old system.

In all honesty, I'd rather have the shenanigans balance team being corrupt and unaccountable than the guy running the shots. We have that going for us.

I'm shocked it was ever in doubt haha.

I'm pretty sure I've never said anything negative about you for the entire time I've been on EiR. It's hard to argue with EiR's content, which is nothing short of phenomenal and continues to impress with each day. It's also hard to argue with someone who appears to not sleep, because coding all of these bells and whistles while holding down any kind of steady job mathematically is mind boggling.

As for some of the other members of your team from time to time, well they aren't in my opinion beyond reproach. And even when I disagree with some of the way certain things are run here in EiR (the mentor program, PR, balance team) I like to think I make it pretty clear that the mod's content, no matter what, has been damn near incredible. In my opinion the fact that the mod itself is so damn amazing only makes the fact that certain people threaten it's success by running half-assed sub-aspects of it all the more frustrating.

For example, having people who are responsible for balancing the mod tell me that 'they don't have the time or desire' to balance properly is one of the most bafflingly infuriating things i've ever heard. That would fly for some shitty mod, but with content like this there is NO excuse to deliver anything but the most stringent and thorough balancing. They take their jobs for granted because they are volunteers, and that is unforgivable with a product as good as EiR can be.
