I downloaded the install file, installed it, moved all the files inside the install folder into my CoH directory and started up the auto-updater.  It works fine, connects, downloads all the updates and then once i hit "launch" it crashes saying
"the program or feather "\??\D:CoHAutoUpdater.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows.  Please contact the software vendor to as if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available."

What am I doing wrong cause the stupid updater already worked once fine.  Any help here would be nice.

what weird installation path is that? you need to put 32 bit files in program files(x86) for them to work.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes
maybe you are trying to use it in another compatability mode or something.

Make sure that you installed it to your CoH folder. Make sure that EIR has run as admin on.

well to be honest that is my install file for CoH and my system is 64 bit.  Also I'm running it with admin privileges on so I'm kind of stumped

yeah but do you have CoH installed in a different directory?  I have my hard drive formatted into three parts and the default path (C:\ where my OS is) is reserved for just my OS, so anyway, if that helps anyone figure out my problem I would appreciate it

You need to install EIR to the same directory as CoH.

Once it's in there you should be fine.

You said yourself that it was "D:CoHAutoUpdater.exe" and that's not likely where you have installed company of heroes. It should be something like this THQ\Company of Heroes\AutoUpdater.exe

I don't think you have to move any files at all, I'm pretty sure it's just a simple setup where you just locate your coh folder, install and then play.
