Was sure someone would say that  Grin ......it's like stuka on Luftwaffe poster....so no there won't be volks and stug....
Nightrain, I know your 3 stugs are top of WM units' leaderboard, but do you know there are still people using Tiger (47stugs, 43 Tigers on WM leaderboard, knowing that Stugs are used by WM doctrine)?
Moreover, stug and volks are not specific Blitz units, as storms and Tigers are...it's just their use and doctrine tiers which make them may be better used with Blitz doctrine...

For Stugs and Volks spam afficionados, here's a quick try....plenty of Stugs, many volks....
Hard to find some good photos or drawings of Stugs, and it's even more difficult to find some good ones of volks...

umm.. Its named Luftwaffe because it means Airforce. So Join the airforce in the other Thread..

You cant Join the blitzkrieg. it was a battlefield tactic.. It should be named Wehrmacht.

As far as sentence structure goes, it's still technically correct provided you use the correct context; "The" Blitzkrieg itself was an event (Well, series of events) as well as a tactic, in the same vein that you could theoretically have "Join the Strategic Bombing Campaign" or somesuch similar.  (Strategy/Tactics pedantry aside.)

That, and even if we go the full-retard route of literal translations, "Join the Lightning War" still works just fine; and actually sounds rather good as far as recruitment poster taglines go.

Hey, thanks for all the "lessons"about Blitz, Luft and so on, as if I didn't know myself....sorry Voleron but Blitz was not a tactic, it was a strategic, and mostly an operational (for those who know the difference between these levels, strategy/operationnal/tactic pedantry aside  Wink) doctrine. At tactical level, Auftragstaktik which was used, and was later copied by the allies under the name "mission command"....

Luft-waffle, aside from being a service (or a component, to make it clear), is a doctrine in Eir, and that's why I used Blitz for the poster....
Btw, the "Join the lightning war" motto is a good one....

Eh, I just used tactic 'cause that's what demon was bitching about.  Wasn't really trying to give anyone a 'lesson' or anything. Just saying what came to mind.  Undecided

Bleh. This kind of back-and-forth definition war is exactly way the 'pedantry' comment was intended to head off. Maybe I should've just written "the poster's phrasing works, stop complaining guys" and left it at that.  Whether Blitzkrieg is a Tactic, strategy, or my grandmother's purple dress is completely immaterial to the point I was (admittedly inarticulately) trying to make.
