Ok, I'm working on a school project that I most likely have to be finished with by Friday. Trouble is, I have some problems with my editing program.

Problem: I'm trying to load parts of a movie to the program-interface (the window where the stuff i work with inside the program is), but due to copyright, the program won't upload the parts. (I'm using Cyberlink PowerDirector)

Q: Does anyone here know how to circumvent/bypass the copyright on the CD, or does anyone know of a program that ignores copyright and allows me to edit at will?

If you do, please drop me a PM describing the program/solution/what to do/where to get the program.

Thank you.

you could allways just load it up in VLC player and then record it in fraps.

I do, I did a ton of that in my job with the school district (ripping our VHS to DVD, or making a DVD available on the network).  Find me on vent.

Use Premiere Pro or After Effects. You can download 30 day trials from adobe's site.
