How about adding a m10 variation without the turret and with better armor (sherman or preferable churchill armor)

You mean a kangaroo?

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

Sadly BigDick, I don't know of any non-turret TD that was used by the US in the war that would qualify for thhat.

The best 'tough' tank you're going to get with US are the Jumbos and Pershing.  If you really want a tough tank do Brits and run Churchills.

Actually, you could make the M10 turret rotation realistic. 2 minutes to rotate full circle =)

i think the kangaroo comes close to what i meant

but since the crew need to sit somewhere it would be probably better the remove just the gun

the purpose of the new m10 variation shouln't be as carrier like the kangaroo but more like better armored M10 to run over infantry
