The actualy EiR Steam group was invite only and for some reason I was never invitedd I made my own EiR related Shogun 2 group and invited Claudio and Lionel because they were the only ones I saw on my friends list doing Avatar combat.

'Europe in Ruins-Shogun 2' is what I called it

The clan competition thing is somewhat irrelevant because it's based solely off # of grinded out wins which is based off players. If they had a more detailed system which I hope they eventually get qaround to it will actually mean something

About specialisation, well, anything but spears is fine.

When you join the steam group you go to the clan page in SHogun 2 and label that clan as yours.

The Clan is Sword specialisation. because far more usefull units require that for late veterancy upgrades(Katana Hero, Katana Samurai, Ninja, No-Dachi, etc)

Found an imba company layout.

I use 2 great guards, (1 or 2 yari cav), 1 ninja and then the rest as many bow cav as possible.
Play it like the mongols, havent been beaten, but alot of people dc against me, either at the start when they see 10 units of bow cav, or shortly before they get completely destroyed.

Lol I faced someone the that exact build, only I had bow warrior monks and a mangonel.

Fire rockets are absolute beasts against cavalry. A lot of people tend to waste them on infantry though. My one fire rocket unit usually saves me the day against all/heavy cavalry armies.

The only spam that, imo, is overpowered is naginata warrior monk spam.

I mean, I've seen people use literally nothing but these warrior monks, right click on the enemy team and then practically do nothing and still get out with at least a load of kills. The sheer number of these you can have is mind blowing.

Well if they ONLY have naginata monks then all it takes is 1 bow cav and good tactics to pwn them. The real problem is when they take naginata monks and something else, like guard cav.

I'll play it again when they fix the drophacking. No point in playing 30 mins or even 1 hour games and winning when the other guy just drops shortly before the victory screen turns up and you get nothing.
