I got permission to use their Maps a year or 2 ago when they had fourms. 

They said it would be fine to use the Joint ops maps, but the triggers and all he thought would make the map pointless.  i think it got lost in translation how amazing his maps were and i figured they could be used for regular games not just campaign style play. 

No one ever converted them tho so it fell on def ears.

If I knew the process in conversion i'd do it myself seeing as i have joint ops. There are some maps in blitzkrieg and botb that i'd love to see in eir as well

i changed the joint ops maps and have tried them ingame before, i was gonna steal them and put them in here just never got in touch for permission though.

Hey dudes? Are there any specific requirements for EiR maps? Like...what has to be there, what mustnt be there &c.? I ve been toying with the WB for like...years but without any real purpose I always dropped it...

No base building area, no resource points (just strategic points for sectors). All you need is map starting positions and map entry points for every player. The rest is pretty much the same like with normal vCOH mapping. Oh and square maps don't tend to work too well. (And less, bigger, sectors are better than lots of small ones)
