The free releasing is for Publicity. it was buggy but logically it`s fixed now and thats why they want to boost awareness of it.

Yeah I have ARMA 2 combined arms (Vanilla+OA)
Its some coolbeans stuff. But ARMA has 1 HUGE flaw that I heavily dislike about its multiplayer.
It lags like fuck, how do you play 40 man warfare mode if the dude your trying to snipe 600meters away is teliporting 8 meters.
How do you hit that tank with your dragon AT launcher when that guy even superlagified(Extreme Case) and his abrams m1a1 is teliporting forth 3m every second. And guess what? I did hit that abrams in his rear, didn't do shit with the uberlag he had.
The only time I played and I was able to enjoy the experience with little lag, was when I played on Takistan coop with 4 other people, so we didn't have many people to synchronize it.
It was really fun then.

If you care about graphics, then why are you downloading a free game?
Games with good graphics are rarely any good, eg. Crysis 2

I don't care about just the graphics, I like the overall gameplay mechanics and the different type of missions/multiplayer servers available. It's just that the graphics are bugging me to hell, that's all. |

the voice acting made me vom.
that's the only reason I wouldn't pay for it.
pro players use min graphics to maximize frame rates lawllawl. The only setting I have up on EIRR is model detail, so I can see what upgrades units have and notice better when they're activating an ability (eg. grenade, assault), otherwise everything looks like Warcraft 2

i run coh/eir on high....only when playing under linux using wine its on low for some performance reasons
