Why would you fight inf with a tank?  Never take the MGs, get the skirts and repairs and use it as a heavily armored M10.  Shoot tanks from afar, not rushing to get flanked by inf (damage bonus being it is considered a heavy tank from zooks).

most time the panther dies by ATGs and m10s and skirts does not help against these

ok 10% less received damage against fireflies and pershings can be useful but spending 80 muni for something a panther has lost anyways?

help yes sure 15% more dmg and pen

but imho its not cost effective to fight pershings with panthers

sure a panther has a bit more range but to take advance of that you need sight that means constantly sacrificing and feeding inf to the pershing or using expensive unsupported stuff like sniper/storms

and if pershing is backed up by 1 ATG its GG panther

panther is just not much cheaper than the pershing (especially not if you get skirts and stuff) and almost useless against inf

thats the reason i dropped my 3 panther company and took double tigers because they are better in everything for almost same pricing

I'm pretty sure a simple cheap Motorcycle can do the sighting part with minimal pain on their part.

Pretty sure that the Panther can out range/see the pershing in a 1v1 fight anyway. Just keep backing up as he comes close Tongue

Also, I like taking skirts because it makes me feel safer about being a little agressive with them, and I like taking MG because it allows me to deal some suppression/damage in a pinch if needed. The damage/suppression isn't perfect, but better then nothing Tongue

the price of armor skirts were increased and the cost of the mg gunner reduced.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

i use panthers with my TH coy and they do well, but in the current any AT or the other heavies e.g jadg, KT and tiger can be more cost effective and easy to use.

The price of the skirts have been unchanged for quite some while AFAIK. MG price went down indeed.
Also, skirts now work versus piats, that's major.
