And Nug, whats to say they haven't already taken suppression damage already? And even if they haven't. They're a blob. You get suppression nerfs for being in a blob. The more there is the more the nerf is Tongue

There are no nerfs for being a blob.  The only 'nerf' for being a blob is that your inf gets suppressed all at once, but that is not a game nerf but people playing stupid.
And no suppression damage is taken away from mgs.

You forget about incremental accuracy modifier which all HMGs have afaik.

Can't remember where I saw it too but I saw something saying that its there, and it makes bloody good sense too. Go around as a blob and see how quick shit gets suppressed. So yeah, Stuff gets suppressed faster if you're blobbing dude :/

Ofcourse it will get suppressed faster because 3 units are together and not spreaded out so mg does not have to fire at different target.

That's logic and not a game nerf.

Bleh, I might be wrong, still pretty sure I read something saying to effect of it.
Although, that could of been a Pio only thing to stop the flamer spam that Brits had to deal with in vCoH (Not like that helped Cheesy).

But anyway, gotta say this, Trust you to come into here and try and make a balance discussion outta this xP

sad but true. that's normal for a lot of pe players these days i didn't find that blobing lol i dont think i've ever seen axis blobs like i've seen lately, it's astounding

There is whats called incremental accuracy and incremental supression and incremental damage, it is given to mgs to counter blobs, the more units its firing at in one area, the more it multiplies and causes more supression/damage/accuruacy. Defensive Doctrine buffs this in Presighted positions.

Wasn't rushing 4 squads into an mg, brought on 4 squads moved them up to the front. Was going to split them up from there but the MG caught me by surprise.

Is NugNug forgetting game mechanics?

There has always been incremental suppression for MGs, helps them stop blobs better.  That's why when you say run a ranger squad into an MG42 it can take 1-2 bursts and not get suppressed, but god forbid I get ambushed and my dual rangers runs into an mg, sometimes catches me at the end of the first burst or immediately on the 2nd burst.

Hence it's usualyl better to run single squads seperated to avoid being suppressed faster (and it makes smart gameplay too, especially when arty is trying to land on you).

Also that video.... my god what a waste of blobbed infantry.... XD Nice demo charge!
