Should they be 8 pop? Having played with them for a bit, I find them quite subpar compared to say the M8 which is the direct counterpart. While I understand M8 has Munitions investeed into it to make it more powerful... I think the current Upgun / 50mm Pumas should be just 7 pop. 6 pop makes them spammable but 7 pop makes them fine I think.

At 8 pop, 280MP 70Fu. It feels like a middle of the road AT unit thats neither good at AT, nor anything else other than really annoying your enemies. If someone can enlighten me with its proper usage (i.e. thru replays) I'll be more than happy to find out how I'm using them wrong.

Actualy the Stuart is the direct counterpart to the 50mm puma. The M8 is more of a utility/anti infantry vehicle and has much less penetration, less damage, and slightly higher reload but higher acc vs infantry.

The stuart actualy has the exact same gun of the 50mm puma. And they are quite similer in other ways too.

One could definitly argue the stuart is better because he has access to the infantry suppressing shotgun.

I think this suggestion has some merit, but then it'd have to be done across the board for all AT-role vehicles. (Stuart upgun, hotchkiss upgun, etc)

They die to like 2 ATG shots, thats the problem, it's not like 2 atg shots leave it at 1% health so they can go repair, they just die. After doing no damage. At all.

On the contrary you need like 4-5 pak shots to kill allied LV's.

Good point unknown, so this would also apply to upgun hotchkiss, Tetrach. Stuart, I suppose?

But definitely no need for M8, or the staghounds to get reduced, they are good at 8 pop.

Hotchkiss are quite good with APCR but i found a hilarius fail that T17s win upguned hotch with ease sence all shots pen from them at medium range.

t17s rape, its the staghounds that are medicore against anything but i have lost around 5 or so hotch with APCR figting t17s when i was going after some greyhounds.

6 may be a bit much maybe 7 pop. if u do 6, you'd have 4 50mm puma, stuart etc starters and despite it being "AT roled" it still does a decent job against infantry and if you have 4 forget it.

Also if you have it at 6 pop, 3 = 18 u can throw in a pak and pio but with 7 pop that's 21 and it makes it harder to have other things around it to make it uneven but 2 is perfect (14 pop)

Stuarts the same thing.

Upgun hotches are awesome. All they need is an increase in their health from 300 to 350 so they survive 2 ATG shots(considering they can't dodge the shells).
