the volks kar in EIRR have higher cooldown than compare to Vcoh eirr.
vcoh : 1.3 sec wind down + (.75 cooldown x 1.25 long range modifier) = 2.2375 sec
eirr: .5 wind down + (1 cooldown X 2.32 long range modifier) = 2.82 sec

the dps calculator in coh stats seems to be broken for the volks kar and lee enfield long range.Try to use the formula manually.

did you check the long range dps? that thread only show the mid range dps.

A nerf was definitely not intended when this was made. It was changed so the rifles benefited from cooldown bonuses better. If the dps is alot higher/lower than it should be after this change then we should fix that.

after calculation: volks kar long range(eirr): 1.07 volks kar long range (vcoh): 1.2
needs to lower the long range modifier and add .5 to all the reload time affected by the wind down change.

macro results: volks kar long range(eirr): 1.26 volks kar long range (vcoh): 1.2

actually you calculated the wrong weapon. the volks uses kar_98k_rifle_vg.
Your calculation is for the kar_98k_rifle which no one uses afaik. the luft ground force uses.

then use grens,I dont see reason why should I use grens,when I can beat rifles with volks,have full package on them for 65mun(faust and medikit),and recrew 2 weapons for less mp...my whole volk coy is doing actually rly good.
