Can AB armor for falls come as a free upgrade? So you can choose it if you want on certain squads? Call it "light gear" or something, so you can pick it for squads that will be moving, and not pick it for squads that will be ambushing.

AB armor is really a degrade compared to soldier armor, and I wish there was an ability to keep soldier armor on some squads.

We can probably look into it.

Personally I don't have any squads that I want Soldier armour on because I've got the Quick response Tier 4 and I spend most of my time running with FSJ TB's. the only time I stop is to fire and reload(no Reload while Sprinting) I only have 3 FG42 units in my company but I do wish they didn't get wrecked for standing still

That sounds alot better, but the health bonus should be removed if that was done, and there would be some weird stuff with this.

Like bars getting worse vs them, and snipers missing every now and then.

Yeah but then you would have super armour. Best of both worlds with no drawbacks.

if you use them vs infantry i agree they are no AI units because their upgrade is AT
same is with falls that are no AT units and like u said "have a hard time to defend themself"
the T3 unlock unit Tankbuster falls have "a hard time to denfend themself" (vs infantry) and even vs tanks because tanks ignore soldier armor

Falls are strong enough as AI AND AT.
FJ TB's are arguably the strongest AT inf in the game. If Airborne had 2 shreks, then this would be a valid discussion lawl.

How are FJ TB strongest? They are same as TD tankbusters more or less,with T3 they can sit in cover just like FJ can.

why do you see ab blobs running around,but not FJ TB's blobs running around.

yeah and as u pointed out somewhere else that even has a drawback....they can't shoot while moving in own territory anymore
that means a dps drop in trade for more mobility

exactly and vs the units they are meant as counter (because vehicles ignore their soldier armor type) they are worse then doubleshrek tankbusters....(60hp vs 80hp means tankbusters are 33.33% more durable vs vehicles while being cheaper and no T3 unit unlock - just a T2 for doubleshreks)

falls-tankbuster become only worth it with doctrine abilities but arn't good on its own

If you think bottom T4 is OP gtfo and create your thread, but I'd suggest whoever does start that consider that FJ can't reload while sprinting.. and they are not durable at all, and they're a 4 man squad..you can kill them with a sherman after they fire the first salvo, unless there are 2 of them, in that case where's the rest of your shit?
