I have heard aloft from people who have been saying "why would you buy a pak36? it sucks" and now i have to tell you guys this, it rapes Lvs from tets to grays with its amazing RoF, High acc and High damage against Lvs it will kill it in 3 shots or at least cripple it in 2 and for the price of only 60 mun you are better off teaming it with Jagd instead of TB due to it being able to obliterate any attack from tets or other Light tank destroyers.
sure you might say "aawww it can't event dent the enemy tanks so it must be useless" well i will tell you guys this that you use something else than a bloddy LV killer to fight a Tank ffs so start using it because it's an amazing add-on to the already useful Lv killing arsenal of the Tank hunters Doctrine.

oh yea it cripples tanks amazingly fast if you are firing at the rear armor but still do not buy the Tread breaker on it couse it is just to slow to be of any use.

Yes but the pak 36 is cheaper, stronger, recrewable and can cloak with the top t3.

he was probably using it on tanks like most people i have seen using it.

Actually, pak36 has far better DPS than the LATHT, but yeah the light LATHT can pwn infantry and can chase down a tank for treadbreak.

And pak36 has better durability, easier to kill the latht than to decrew the pak36.

But I think treadbreak should be cheaper on the pak36, its not mobile like the LATHT, so its way harder to get a shot off on a tank, and if you do it will most likely be a frontal, meaning temporary instead of permanent.

and that is why i made this thread, the pak36 rapes Lvs and ONLY lvs, if you try to use it againt tanks you will yell useless way to fast.

Bump. Why is this thing still in the game?

It seems to take 10 seconds for the weapon change to use the treadbreaker, and the crew will flop around and not fire or do anything useful during this time.

For such limited penetration abilities, you would expect it to have some use vs infantry. But it doesn't.

It is a LV killer, otherwise it sucks and is terrible for any other role than LV killer. But even then you'd be better off with alternative options (APCRs buff all kinds of things but not this thing.)
