I think the generic 3-man set-up MG "just" with cloak is pretty boring. What I was expecting was something similar to the old support grens, a 3 man team with an MG34, ambush, and about 30 cal suppression!

Plus an MG in ambush is kinda funky, it won't fire by itself at long range, and sometimes if you click on the squad you want to fire on, it resets the MG.

Another option is to add an MG34 upgrade to riflenades and G43s. This would just be purchaseable on normal FSJ, but this would make them pretty freaking strong! LMG with ambush...... mmmmmm, I've had vanilla falls that picked up a BAR get like 30 kills, it's pretty epic.

I really hope you guys are with me on the thought that the current MG-34 is boring, and too similar to other MG's. I want some flavor!

Yeah calbanes, I mean - some people like smokaz are still yet to win a single game, even though they've been around here for years.

I support the idea. LMG34 squad, has a Suppressing Fire ability. Possibly fires on the move or something to that effect to give it a little more "umph".

Well, LMG fallchrims is pretty generic too.

There is a limit to how how creative you can really be here.

Unless you want lazer MG or some other shit.

MG34 should  be specifically for SE. I don't see why 2/3 PE factions have HMG's when the whole point of PE is to be mobile and lack support weapons.

Giving luft a moving MG34 is tricky -- it'd either be horribly UP so that people will treat them like old support grens, or it will be horribly OP. It's hard to balance a unit when doctrine buffs give it cloak & ambush, and +33% acc ON EVERY INFANTRY SQUAD.

MG34 with +33% acc is just.. lol

ambush bonus can be customized. I think it only gives extra penetration on fsj tankbusters for example

You guys are ruining any chances of seeing the epic lmg icon on top of falls!!!!

Anyways, yes the mg-34 is REALLY good at what it does, but it's boring, and the MG-34 was mostly used with a bipod as a light machine gun (FUCK YEAH FOR REALISM ARGUMENT)

In other words, I want the MG-34 to be mobile

The MG34 was much rarer than the MG42 by this point in the war. MG42 was stamped and easy to make. Just make it a dual LMG squad that can deploy to gain extra suppression, to deploy it takes a couple seconds and they are limited to the cone of fire they are placed in. Woo.

Aside from there being two firing weapons at a time, explain how that's different from the MG as it is?

Sounds like a Grensquad with dual LMGs and Fal cloak. Dont need it, seems like FG42s...but, 2 of them that dont shoot on the move. Single buffed LMG, or just fix the current bugged HMG.

It's not a mobile guy with an HMG? I don't think PE should have an HMG but someone was suggesting a mobile HMG be made.

Better to make a standard PE squad with LMG/dual LMG and have them deploy for extra suppression/range but have a set cone of fire.

AKA, you can move with it, and if need be set it up for suppression in a few seconds.

Yea, at least the Jadgtiger and KT saw action on a regular basis. The Pershing is just WTF is this even here for?

But making it a unique unit instead of "lol, we're lazy, PE gets an HMG since we can't think of something" would be awesome. Each faction should be pretty unique and try NOT to have copies of other factions units.
