I'm unable to get past the profile selection most of the time now.
My launcher crashed and after this started happening.
it just stays there at the "retrieving company" popup.
I have to close down my launcher and restart it to get out. or, when I wait it out the launcher crashes after a while.
sometimes it gets stuck at "updating news" as well.
On some companies I can login but then when I logout and try again the same company doesn't work anymore.
The launcher also doesn't close properly when manually closing it at that moment and I need to end the process manually in the task manager.
I tried restarting my PC
I tried removing the EIRLauncher folder in my coh install folder and redownload everything.
Doesn't fix it.

Then there is more than likely an issue with your profile / battalions.
Get someone to look at the SQL.

But it crashes at the Selection screen. not once he actually has a company. I can check to see his ID's haven;t changed but I figured it was more an issue with .net framework or xma or something

Once inside it happens as well.
when trying to accept changes for my company it gets stuck.
when i try to ready for supplies I don't see the S appearing and can't do anything really.
when i come back from a match it gets stuck at retrieving company..
edit: right, so I got stuck again now trying to accept changes on company.
but when I got back my changes to my company did register.

Nope. If he gets into the launcher, any framework issues are no longer to blame (unless theres some weird conflict, but that can safely be assumed ok as hes used it before successfully). Therefore, I need to know which was the last part that he crashes at. Retrieving company. Retrieving Units, Warmap etc etc. Some go by fast, so you need to do it several times. |

He hits accept and then it lists his 10(or whatever) companies and he crashes.
(Correct me if I'm wrong leo but thats what I gather)

it seems to be caused by my system. the launcher works fine on my laptop.
I will try to reinstall EIR completely and those frameworks too.
edit: Still same problem...

Again, it CANNOT be the framework. After you load up after the launcher without a freeze, you have bypassed that as a possible cause. It could be an issue with the battalion data in SQL due to some odd dsid linkups. I will need to check after next patch due to me not having an old developmentversion that I can login with. |

Oh wait, if its working for you Brn, then it can only be a data transfer issue with Leos pc or a data timeout.... Maybe caused by throttled internet or something... I'm stumped. |

Basically, I am unsure whether its your systems, or something profile-wise thats fucking up. Id have to go with the former - because brn said he can log in to those accounts fine. So would you say its like major lag? |

ITs so bad that im having a hard time resiting taking an ice pick to my screen in hopes of some where to please the choas gods of the digital world to give me a break!
I mean even when i do get to get passed the coy selection screen i often only can click on two things before the entire thing just freezes and i have to restart it, mind you i cant restart directly, i have to wait 30 min cause if i try to fast and try running the program it conveniently pops up and then dissapears into another dimension where everyone else is having a great time and laughing at how stupid I look with mouth shaped like im sucking cock and eyes with so much hate filling up that i could pull up some cups and serve it as TEA!
I'am sorry for the rants im just abit ticked off

No to clarifiy, is this happening after you finalise your company?
Or is it happening just move/dragging units or some such?
DONT go to battle screen for a while, and dont click finalise - does it crash?
Go to intelligence tab and see if that crashes.
What Im looking for, is if the crash is being caused by lag/latency - which is more than likely server side.
