Anyone here play it?

A buddy at work got me to sign up and, all things considered, it's not a bad way to spend 5 minutes a day. When I'm at work I appreciate the occasional short distraction that isn't too concentration intensive.

Anyway, if you want to give it a shot do me a favor and join up at this link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/referrer/BoldAsLove

I'm currently playing for Canada so let me know what country you sign up for and I'll send some help your way.

Erepublik is really not that good as it seems. You'll get bored with it real soon.

THIS is a good browser based game. It has a lot of strategic depth and it's fun, try it out.

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

Erepublik is definitely not a fast-paced game, but if you're looking for 5-10 minutes of fun once a day I do recommend it.

I enjoy it because it's low-maintenance really, which is what I need when it's 2:30pm at work and I just need to have a little break. If you're the same way, check it out.

Haha Canada and UK are in a major war. We've been invading in the south of England taking lands haha

Welcome to the game though! Send me a message in game and I'll send you some help. I'm fairly new myself but I can help you out a bit!

(that goes for anyone else who takes a moment to join up under my link, because it helps me out when people do as well haha)

Oh also, if any of you join up as Canada be sure to check out this link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/the-construction-program-we-re-back--1879035/1/20

It's a program that refunds new players the cost of certain buildings for free. A buddy of mine referred me to it when I started playing and it was a huge help. They don't ask for anything from you, so it's pretty fantastic at helping you get on your feet way faster.

Nice.

I'm trying to send 500 CAD to guys who join up. When I joined my buddy sent me 500 gold and it really helped me get on my feet.

I'm still new so I don't really have much else to give yet, but I will soon. First enroll in the Construction Program (if your in Canada) and you guys should be good to go.

Also, I'd suggest Canadian players join the "Captains of Industry" military unit. I checked out a few before joining and this one seemed to be the most valuable in terms of free stuff. Join up and PM the head guy (Addy) and ask him to place you in a company. They call them "slave pits" because you don't get a wage like normal companies, but he gives out a bunch of tanks every few days to you which is way more profitable than working at a random company for 180 CAD a day.

Haha yeah. Poland and Serbia are by far the two most powerful countries in the game... and they're allied lol.

Yeah, will my character (or whatever, still figuring out the basics slowly) die if I'm negligent? There are frequent perods in my week when I do not have access to the internet, so I just kind of need to know.

Nope. Everything just stays the same. It's kind of the easiest game to play casually/slowly, which is why I like it at work.

Sounds cool then. I'm probably only going to play it on and off though, but I'll try to do the best for Canada.

I tried this for a while like 3 years ago, got bored of it really quickly. Too bad, I liked the concept.
