I beat the campaign and I thought it was pretty decent. Also, I unlocked the EOD bot, and I must say, that thing is hard as hell to drive around!

Mortars are boss xD, I was in a game with Mal and Sojourner against AmPM and Jodomar and AmPm was using his recon drone to spot us out in the streets while Jodomar mortared us. Needless to say, bodies were flying everywhere

I was considering getting this, but I have a few questions first:

1) Do fighter planes play a large role in multiplayer? Are planes available on most maps?

2) Does the vehicular combat in general take a backseat, so to speak, to the infantry combat?

1) So far not really. Planes have shown to be hard to fly and you have to unlock ground attack capablities (unless you like strafing)
I have heard of many complaints about planes being underpowered.

2) Sortoff, but not really. I get many more kills in tanks on average compared to infantry. Some people think tanks are OP some think they are UP.

It all depends on what terrain you are on. If you can safely move to cover and repair then your good. Some may think you are OP.

If you are on a map like caspian border in a area were people can flank you, you will proboly need some support dealing with those flanking infantry. They can tear you a new one if they C4 you or RPG your rear. And some consider that weaknesses to make tanks UP.

Depends on the map, generally it's like this, planes can do some ground attack but primarily kill Helicopters, Heli's need to be taken out because they will destroy your AFVs. AFVs support infantry attacks.

Well I might consider getting this now based on the info. I'm great at strafing runs while flying planes in games, and I highly doubt the plane controls could be anywhere near as hard to use as they were in the PC version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, where I managed to become a half-decent pilot anyways in spite of that.

while im on the winning end of mortars. i still feel its not done right. i think it should be shorter distance and requested by like SqdLdr or commander.
I go out of my way to smoke areas. But be cool if people requested it.
