a roflwtf troll tiger ace is what we had before and it was bad.
this tiger ace just as some buffs here and there and some special abilties.
what should make it good is that its rare. but atm it isnt ;/

I think you guys are misled.
Tiger ace is a tiger improved in several different areas. Nothing more
Better speed, accel, reload times, range, penetration, splash and + a few more more that I can't remember.
Either way its still a tiger, and still needs support.
Another issue is that 95% of allies will accommodate for heavier AT because they know there is most likely a tiger ace in their game.

my tiger ace has a kill count of 4 panthers and an assist of 2 =D
but i haven't used tigers since the GC and that was with old HEAT compared to that its crap

The Tiger Ace is certainly a better Tiger. The Abilties alone allow it to do more and it can Achieve 45 Range with the AP Shells. However it's not the Old vCoH 1.0 Tiger ace with it's 6 speed and uber accel/decel. That thing was Epic. I miss the fast Tiger of Doom.
