I already addressed someone with my issue and they gave me a solution that I have to turn off the fire wall and/or go to the exceptions tab and incule the EIR launcher with it. That didnt seem to be the problem so Im asking you guys how to fix it. The error reads....

Error Type: 1505
Error Code: 10054
Error Message: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the host.

This happens when Im downloading 7 files that were missing or outdated.

Well, as a temporary workaround.  You should use the website interface to connect to battles.  Go to your war control panel and click "battle" and join there.  You'll have to manually download the files.

I believe you manually download the files using a link labeled "download."  Hopefully fldash or one of the other devs will be able to help you out on fixing that error message.  I hope this helps you get a game!

Also, even if you create a battle in the launcher, you should use teamspeak to coordinate the game.  Even if you don't have a mic, just get on there and listen and use the chat function.  A chat window for the launcher is coming soon, but not implemented yet, so in the meantime, TS is the way to get games.

The error will persist, until I can figure out the exact cause. I'm having some difficulty with it.

However, you don't need to use the Launcher:) It makes things easier, but its not necessary.

It has three functions:
1. Update your EiR files, which you can do manually with the link above which always contains the latest versions.
2. Join battles, which you can do using the web interface available in the War Control Panel.
3. Download battle files, also available in the web interface.
