The Penal colony was only 1 part of the mission to Australia, the soon to be Governor of Australia has already written up laws and other things need to create a country.
It was always planned to have Australia as Britain's largest colony, the prisoner thing was because they didn't have space. It wasn't a prison colony that turned into a country, more a country that had to bear the burden of Britain's lack of space.

Seeing that we make the brits look stupid at almost everything they do, (that johhny wilkinson field goal was pure fluke) im happy with the stigma really. From time of federation we have always showed them up, eg General John Monash and his new tactics that started to change the battlefields of ww1. The defence of toobruk by an australian general his name escapes me. The constant humiliation of britans attempts at playing sport, even when they win they fail |

and i dont care about WW1 or 2, but ATM britian has the most highly skilled military in the best part of the world, yea america has numbers and tech, but we have pure rock solid killing machines.  |
