After successfully installing the OF patch (which, incidentally, required a reinstall of CoH after it corrupted my first install...) I bring you an illustrated guide to the new stuff in worldbuilder!

There are four new tiles. Also, there are now new buttons that hide various elements (splats, splines, objects, etc.)

There is now a handy little warning popup that tells you about potential problems!

The music menu is back!  (haven't tested it out yet, cause I need to extract the .bsc's)

About 2/3 of the new splats.  Mostly "Holland" ditches and cliffs

New road splats and a runway splat

A sample of British units, including a freestanding AT gun.  There was an accompanying "towing truck" but it was just a purple cube.

A sample of the "Holland" building set

The new bridges

Undestroyed cars, milk jugs, clotheslines, and "military training" category

Planes!  Perfect for airbase maps

Gigantic Cathedral pieces as well as a large statue.  Sherman for scale

Giant pines, dead horses, dead cows (now with flies) and... pine groves!
(I know what I am going to do to 6p_Ardenne_Valley!)

Enjoy!

Awsome! Thanks alot Kolath.

I'm currently working on a map based on the village I grew uop in, it's called maximiliansau and these new additions will deffinetly improve it alot. I just might start from scratch.

Quick question do u have to have the OF expansion or does this stuff come with the 1.8gig patch?

It'll need a sector redesign and such aswell, since the mod is unfortunately kind of flawed on multiple aspects.

I'm up for it though and I'm already getting some great new ideas for redesigning Wink.

So i am putting the finishing touches on my map and trying to add ambient sounds, but none are availible.

How do I go about using this new feature, seems like it could be a really cool touch for maps

You need to use corsix tools to extract the sound files.  They are under like "data/sound" I think.  Poke around and you'll find it.  You'll want the "ambient" folder and the "music" folder.
