if a player disconnects from a game before he is annihilated/surrendered this can happen.
press the red X in the bottom right of the battle lobby screen to force out the game. this puts the letters OUT behind your name. you will need the other team to force it out too.
if they aren't there ask a moderator to force the game, which is what you pretty much did already by posting this thread
