I have the disability of having a huge weight inbetween my legs and it slows me down sometimes  But I feel bad for you tim. That must really suck dude. My doctor once told me that my left eye ball might explode at some point, if that makes you feel any better. lol |

I lost me sense of smell a year ago and it is permanent. Doesn't affect game play ofc, but it fucking sucks none the less. Pretty much all food tastes the same.......

Sense of smell is more a factor in food taste then the actual taste of the food. Your taste buds only discern certain palates. Sweet, sour, salty, pretty much the basics. It's smell that further discerns the integrated flavours of things. Try eating a dish you love with a stuffed nose |

I can only taste salty, sweet and sour. I still get the burn from spicey, but that's it. The good news is I can;t smell scotch, so now I drink it....lol

You get the burn because the chemical compositions in the spices bond to muscas membranes in the nose and throat.. it's got nothing to do with smell or taste.
