yea, because investors are usually stupid, and they dont do any research before they buy something.
well i meant when compared to other stocks. Gamers know it better
Plus as a gamer you know if something will be a big hit or just plain shitty.
Not sure if investors play betas or demos before release of a product or know if Risen 2 is going to be a big game or a sinker. Plus you can go on a site like gamespot.com and find out retailer sales of a game within 48 hours of release, giving you knowledge how well a company is going to do this year months before the quaterly postings. Not too many investment oppotunities are out that offer such foresight. Like even if you work in a hospital as a surgeon or doctor you cant really be that sure of how medical stocks will do.

you have to be mad or ignorant to think regular investors dont have this kind of foresigh
also anything we can do as amateurs or non-professionals / substitute term of choice you can be damn well sure everyone else can do as well

Well would you agree that THQ for $.70 a share is a good bet. Even if they get up to 5 dollars a share this year your a winner?

He made a funny thread for bear, and got banned.
Now bear makes his own funny thread. It's unsurprisingly not funny.
Keeps died for our funny threads.

"NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Post Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: POSTwi) will replace Comstock Resources, Inc. (NYSE: CRK) in the S&P MidCap 400 index, and Comstock Resources will replace THQ Inc. (NASD: THQI) in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Friday, February 3. S&P MidCap 400 constituent Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: RAH) is spinning off Post Holdings in a transaction expected to be completed on or about that date, pending final approvals. The Ralcorp Holdings stub will remain in the S&P MidCap 400 index. Comstock Resources' market cap is below $620 million, making it more representative of the small cap market space. THQ's market cap is below $50 million, and is no longer representative of the small cap market space."
Brian, please dont give any investment tips, obv you dont know shit about investing, no offense. I dont know anything about investing in gaming. But shit.... I was stupid to listen to you and I only have myself to blame. Luckily I only bought a small amount of shares, but my brother however bought 10 000 shares. Which isnt that much either. But its enough for me to feel like an ass.
Ill keep trading on the swedish market, thank you very much computer.

Computer is a complete idiot and not be trusted with anything serious Dnice, I wish I could have told you that before your brother spent a months worth of work on anything that he woulc recommend. He might act friendly but I knew he was not a decent guy when I realized he couldn't put out 20$ for a bottle of DMSO. Sure hang out with him here on EIRR but dont expect more of him. I wish I could retract him having my cell phone number

The reason I specifically posted "No offense Dnice" was to try and convey that my comment was not an insult to you, but a giant warning to others. It is too late to save you.... sorry.
My investment in this mod was purely for the benefit of myself and a thanks to Eirrmod for the years of work and effort he made in providing me with entertainment. In fact, that is exactly what I posted publicly way back when I made the large donations.
I expected nothing more from this mod then a completed Warmap. That was the condition of my "Non Guaranteed" investment. I new the day I sent the money that EiRRmod could just shut the whole thing down and I would see nothing ever again. It has always been more of a gamble then an investment.

That would be a fun, maybe a bit crazy ride

lol I'm glad I never bought anything.
Anyhow, there's still a very real possibility that THQ gets their shit together and whoever hangs on for the ride could see a very nice return on their investment.
