A television series that is well-produced, unique and (imo) good. This combination is pretty much unheard of when it comes to Swedish series, as they tend to be either clones of foreign (often American) series or just plain bad.

Genre: Sci-fi/Drama/Horror

Synopsis: The series takes place in Sweden, where the use of consumer-level androids is spreading. The androids, known as hubots, are used as servants, workers, and company, but as their programming has got more and more advanced, they have started to develop feelings. While some people embrace this new technology, others are frightened by what can happen when humans are replaced as workers, company, parents, and even lovers.

Watch it for free on the web. May be restricted outside Scandinavia.

Here's some information about the series in English. It will be released internationally sooner or later, the only question is when and in what format(s).

Demon posession is real and it's not funny, it's the creepiest thing you will ever experience.

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

Just read pretty much any Philip K. Dick book and save yourself the inevitable bad acting and convoluted plotlines in the future.

Or Isaac Asimov, but Vermillions point is valid.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

^ And it's probably covered in books much better than it is in any serie or film. Though I'll probably just give it a whirl anyway, could be good.

Books >>>>> TV

Story-wise, yes
Time-wise, no
A TV-show is 18 min, a film is usually around 90 min, reading a book takes about 20-30 hours. There is a huge difference.
Films/TV-series also lets you witness what's happening whereas books only describe it.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

But books describe everything in so much better detail in addition to more story.

I think they both have some great advantages depending on what you want to do.

Episode 3 is available. It's actually a pretty cool show, it's too bad that they speak Swedish for you people who can't understand it.

A book can never describe better than film as far as physical details go, maybe emotional or mental but thats where actors come in, mostly, a book can only allow for more interpretation.

Lets just agree that books ≠ TV.

If you want to discuss which one is better than the other then start a new thread because that would be a LENGHTY discussion.
