My opinion is because they dont have an armor type condusive to assaulting, they will just be ripped to shreds. Usually if a squad has a close combat weapon, its got elite armor or soldier armor, or they were intended to get it at some point, like vCoH Wehr vet 2.

i do as well. i have 4 in my pe coy.

step 1 - Pz Gren Supp Fire
step 2 - bring up ass. gren
step 3 -
step 4 - profit.

they also get flame grenades and work well in buildings. they work best as flankers.

they're basically what a lot ofpeople have been asking for with grenadiers.

why do we have to unluck such a weak unit,which is meant to fight against inf which they cannot ,they just fall so fast and get pinned in first mg burst where as grenadiers can get away with 2 mg burst ,lets face it its a shitty unit with a shitty health meant to fight inf which is not good at anything ,volks will do better in fighting off inf then falls,it needs ranger armor srsly or airborne health and armor coz its also a airborne unit i  am saing this coz PE has no sniper but airborne hase 2 sniper in company to choose so its not fair or even near to balcnce,..

Gork, l2p, srsly. Put them IN COVER to get their AMBUSH BONUSES and gain extra SURVIVABILITY and they will KILL their TARGETS. Clear enough? You're blobbing them like your grenadier army rather then using them from cover and staying put rather then chasing after anything with a heartbeat going "LOL FG42s SHOULD INSTAWIN!".

Its acctuallt more than that if u put them in building i think ^^ and they only get the 33% acc when they are in Y/G cover. But ppl they are a very effective unit even thou they are easy to kill with right counters, which do make'em balanced, u need supression, flame, arty or vech/tanks to kill'em anything else your abit svrewed, 5-thompson rangers or mp40 rifles work aswell ^^

Which is why i prefer g43 luftwaffe infantry, with the top tier 4, they get the +33%, and the building buff. Have ambush from cover and the leader get an fg42. Also when they ambush you can pop g43 suppress and rape anything that gets in their way. Not to mention there cheaper then rifles.

Fallschirmjägers are broken. They're just crawling around getting shot up and derping without firing at enemy units.
It used to  be the only way you could actually play luft was with crete veterans, but now..

They can't shoot when you have cloak active. Just press c or whatever the hotkey is before firing
