I dont like letting women pay regardless if I want to sleep with them or not too be honest.  It really rubs me the wrong way if a check comes and were like "ohh you wanna split it?", I just mean its easier, looks better, and feels better just to be able to pay the whole thing, regardless if you have any more intentions.  In my experience I find that this works 90% of the time, you end up looking responsible.

Yep, even as a poor student you are expected to pay for everything. But depending on what you study you can get the prestige angle right. But if you are not rich and/or in some fancy education glhf getting a girl that is also not a student.

Your wealth/prestige has to be AT LEAST on the same level as the women's. If its not you're going to have to fight hard and score very high in all other factors (appearance, style, health, intelligence etc). wealth/prestige isn't the only factor but there is absolutely no doubt that it's the most important one for men that wants women.
