Well you've already admitted to the crime so your Miranda Rights don't count for much anymore...

Mind you Knocking off a menace like minehold could be considered a service to the community and thus you could get off in a trial.......

They aren't stupid. Bastard.
And, I've had Vista, and I am here to say, it sucks. I just reformatted a few days ago back to XP, and my god. I love XP.
NO. Go linux, if only it could play games!

I'm loving vista. For me, it has been less crashes, much smoother, and a lot of nice features.

its not people, its just warbirds and days of war
i have the latest drivers but i did not do your special install thing and i think i will as it sounds 'neat'
as far as vista, ive been useing it for 3 months and even with 2 directx 10 games i can play, im {} That close to going back to XP
as far as connections we attempted me and him as DMZ and we still couldnt get everyone on at the same time, fact is 3 people behind one router RO is just stupied a few times it even asked for the DVD , even though we had people on the net
DX10 isnt worth it for you folks considering it, ill try that drivers thing if i get anymore crash's i apperciate the advice there, no one offered it
the deadly combination seems to be a special ASUS MoBO with SLI Ready, low end quad core, and geforce 8800 GTX

I did the same except opted for the Dual 6850 over the Quad 6600.
Though I'm debating getting the Q6850

Regarding Vista... admittedly I have next to no experience with it, but as a general rule, and a very reliable rule at that, stay away from a new OS for either a few years, or until it literally becomes necessary to run current software. Software and hardware developers are consistently designing their products to run on the most stable, and perhaps more importantly - widely used - platforms available. Cutting edge technology is often bleeding edge, and there is no point in being part of the testing process when you could simply use what is known to work. I have been an IT professional for about 10 years now, and there is no way I would not make this recommendation to commercial or private customers.
Stick with known quantitites unless it is just that important to you for reasons of major hardware & software compatibility.
Not trying to rub that in your face, Marine, but rather to strongly recommend to roll back to XP.

I prefer to be cutting edge though, so I'm always in the know. It's kinda like being a beta tester for video games.

I prefer to stay at the back of the pack, so by the time I upgrade I know everything will work and it'll be cheap

Yuck, Asus motherboard, Marine?
For the XP lovers out there, XP was just about as 'bad' as vista 'is' when it was first released. I'm not saying vista is a god O.S. , but it has a lot less problems than there are associated to the word. It's all about having the right hardware so you can get drivers that aren't total shit.

I never said intel boards were good, but asus boards sure as heck aren't always the best either.
