Even with the Killer Rangers Of Doom (/sarcasm), the top PE players manage a 7:1 ratio. Now, guess which side is win, and which side is loss. Brits, by the way, are 2.71:1.

To EIR balance...

 For some reason, with the munition-based bazookas, I have the feeling that Rangers will be perfectly balanced in EIR. Because, in vCOH, the reason they are OP is that they counter both early-armor and early infantry for the cost of 100 munitions. They kill Volksgrenadiers/MG42s/Armored Cars, not Stugs and LMG Grens. And you face LMG grens/Stugs off-the-bat in EIR.

Fallshirmjager FG42s need serious balancing due to the chain damage it has.

Wait, how do you spell that...

*edit*: FG42s have a 1.0 modifier to all armor, including Elite and Heroic. This means Ranger Armor=Rifle Armor in terms of FG42 damage.

I stick with 2 Tank Hunter squads, 1 Assault squad, and 1 Fallschirmjaeger squad with FG42s.  Now multiply that group by two, and you have what equals rape.

The first group is pushed back fairly quickly, so I advance with the second group after the artillery goes away.  Then my second group has free reign until they recharge their artillery, since my first assault usually weakened their defenses by a fair amount.

EIR, vs Rangers:

If armed with SMGs, use vehicles.

If armed with bazookas, use infantry.

If armed with both, focus fire or kite. I don't know exactly how effective G43 slow will be, but it could prevent them from closing too quickly. And if armed with both SMG and bazookas, they basically gimped the rest of their army of munitions. Or they have Stacked, which is T4.
