Tonights adventure was going so well, we got a heli fixed up and repaired in Chernogorsk, loaded up with tons of ammo and medical supplies, and headed off to refuel. From there we headed north to the big airfield.
Here is where things went bad. We were looting it when the server restarted.
We all spawn back in, helicopter is still with us, as are the zombies. About 50 zed had spawned on the field, and we were scrambling to get back in the chopper. Finally cleared the area and looted, but with damage to the chopper.
Right now, we are looting a military camp, with a heli that won't fly because zed damaged the engine somehow. So we are holding a perimeter while Leo tries to find some engine parts and scrap metal nearby....
I feel we will die.

my first experience was so shit. i spawned, came to a town, ran through it, had 9 zombies running after me, so i ran out to the forest, while accompanied by the 9 zombies, kept on running, and running, some army zombies joined in the pursuit of me, kept running, and running, and i saw a wooden tower in the distance, i thought i could climb up the ladder to safety, unfortunetely, cant use the ladder, so i got hurt abit there but in my getaway i left most of the zombies back there, except 3 which kept their pursuit, so i was continualy running for 10 minutes and though , well i might aswell try to kill them, i dropped two, but didnt have any ammo left for the last one, so i kept running and the server crashed... that was it

The game is not about killing zombies, it's about surviving from them, and also surviving from hunger, thirst, cold and raiders (or bandits as they are called). The starting makarov and ammo should be enough to kill at least 12 zombies but usually you're better of with stealth, at least until you've found a rifle and some ammo.

I got about 75% of Arma 2:Arrowhead Dled and 52% of Arm 2 dled. Should hopefully be playing it by tonight or tomorrow morning. So it should be quiet on the servers....

3 body hits or 1 headshot.
You should never shoot if you can avoid it.

The best way to fight zombies is to avoid them and not get spotted.
Not only does your shooting attract more zombies, it also attracts and alerts other players to your presence.
Use whiskeybottles, tincans and smokegrenades to lure zombies away. If some other guy enters the same town as you and don't play this smart you will have a massive advantage since you will know where he is and he won't even know you're there.

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

So let me get this right... No offense Sach. But we all know that you do anything to avoid shooting someone and I guess you are now fiighting zombies without actually figting them. Seems to me like that is a pretty good way to make a game boring.
I think its a shame since you do know alot about this game and are pretty good at it.

I play this mod for survival, unlike you and leo that seems to be in it more like for the kills.
While I don't see the point in playing this game like that (there's plenty of better games for that, like BF3) I suppose this mod caters to that too considering how many that play the same way.
Every confrontation with another player is another chance of you getting killed.
PS: I don't try to avoid shooting everyone. If I see someone with better loot than me I will kill him even if he doesn't pose a threat to me.

Well, tbh I have yet to find a game that gives you that amount of satisfaction of killing someone. The guy you just killed might have been alive for a long time trying to beat the record, he might have sooo good stuff that he will freakin ragequit beacuse he lost them, he might have walked a very long distance for hours just to reach a place only to find himself killed by a badass bandit.
There is lots of scenarios similar to the ones i just wrote.
Tell me, can you get that in any other shooter?

So basically you're playing it for the grief potential.

Well....yeah? To kill someone in a game that doesnt give a shit about it is... kinda pointless imo.
But i do want to survive aswell. I want the whole cake!

As on griefing, I totaly made these 3 dudes into madbro's.
I flanked 2 of them that were sniping with m24 and CZ550 /w MP5SD and AKM in thier backpacks, with G17 and 1911 as sidearms. Some serious shit they had. Killed them both with my puny makarov, and a third dude came over and shot me twice with his CZ while I was stealing the dudes MP5 from his backpack, so I raped his ass full auto with the stolen MP5SD, and ate all his food to get to max HP.
I just imagine them raging on vent on how the makarov guy killed all three. Oh, and I hid 2 of thier bodies (the ones with the good stuff) so they cant come back and get it

Dude, I doubt you can put up a fight when shot twice by a sniper? Unless you meant that he missed you twice and he was standing close enough for you to kill him with an average ranged weapon like the mp5.
And I also guess that he had alot of cooked meat since you got back on full health. Beacause you only get 200 hp from the conserved food.
With that said
