Well you know the guy who reviewed it isn't biased Cheesy

Yeah that resource system is fail, and so is that spawning for VCoH. I hope it changes.

Too harsh wut? His gripes are completely justified. Devs shouldn't be making bad re-works on mechanics that were never broke in the first place.

the game is barely alpha. some things go into alpha you wont see post production.

like for ra3, there used to be a Red Alert button that would make you able to build really fast, buff your units but make it so you can't develop resources for a time. That thing didn't make it to beta, but it worked well in Alpha. I used it during the Alpha on accident lol.

also base building was different among other mechanics. it may just not be programmed in yet. To review a game based on an alpha is fool hardy.

NOW, if it's still there in Beta, then you start griping.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

To NOT criticize something during its most important development stages is stupid.

Developers need to know whats wrong. If you don't say anything they will think its fine.

If it's something they say for sure will be in yes, but if its something they haven't gotten to no.

I had a guy complain about the way a certain unit performed and was told it wasn't finished yet. The blog says its a very early build, I'm sure they polished certain things and threw it in just to showcase.

Relic told us about all the new features and that was one they didn't mention and im sure it sosmething they'd mention

Or, you can tell them that its wrong now, and know for a fact that it will most likely get changed, rather than tell them nothing, and not know if a bad mechanic will be changed. Plus, it saves the developers time. Why not tell them now rather then beta?

Resource and Observation Points will likely work like vCoH, the further away from your base, the more resources you get. So if you OP a point next to your base you won't get much of a resource boost.

I don't see a problem with the spawning tbh. Care to enlighten the rest of us?

so basically tell them something they'll fix anyway so you can feel good about yourself?

Seems legit.

put tanktraps and wire around enemy spawn

gg player successfully subdued

put mine down

guaranteed effect within 10 seconds.

I thought the damn article explained it -_- Some people just cant read.

This isn't about feeling good about yourself. Its about getting work done. There is absolutely no reason to wait. Someone somewhere down the line has to say "Dude, this isn't working". Theres something wrong with it. You say it. It saves everyone time so they don't have to go through the lame shit in beta testing and can start working on actual balance. We all know relic will really need time to work on that.....

That's a pretty stupid assumption. Is possible in vCOH to put mines and wire around the enemy's base buildings? No? Then why would it be possible in COH2??

This guy.

He didnt real the article even after I mention it yet he likes to talk shit.

Edit: And uhh, actually people put mines around buildings all the time in VCoH. The most popular form of this is the M8 greyhound rush where they mine were the late pak somes out.

Its a simple mechanic, how do we NOT know about its flaws? Oh yeah thats right some of us arn't even intelligent enough to understand the difference between a complex mechanic and simple mechanic.

You build infantry. They all come on map from one predefined point. The article explained it quite well. Now GTFO if you have nothing logical to add.
