Support Points>Defence Points
That is all. A sector falls faster without support points, it can have 80000000000000000000000000000000000000 defence points but if it has 0 support points, it wont matter.

I'm calling this warmap round GG in favour of the allies. Well played.
Maybe we'll (axis) be able to put up a better fight next war.

Now what happens for the war? Is everything going to be reset again and everyone go back to lvl 1 status essentially? If the war ends so fast it's going to be about which companies get access to things early on (which favors the allies) while late game T4s will never come into play due to their high and prohibitive costs.

Part of the Balance teams role which appears to be completely overlooked despite repeated posts is Balancing companies for stages of the War.
Ideally every doctrine should have a few 1st point selections that are appealing options.(Rangers/Triage, Airbourne/Support teams, Stormtroopers/Smoke Canisters, etc.)
Instead we have a few doctrines where it's not "what do I want" but rather "whats the least bad thing to unlock?"

I do agree with this, reason why I mainly just played Allies because I can get all of the toys I want right now and play at 100% effectiveness, while my Defensive company I don't consider to be fun or playable until I get my T4 AND 88s AND Med Bunkers, so I just haven't been playing Axis till they earn more PP heh.

It's not PP or doctrine unlocks that made this war so one-sided.
It all depends on which side has the smarter, cagier bad players. In this iteration, the Axis sidewas 85% weak players who willingly let themselves get stomped over and over again despite the fact that they were screwing over the entire Axis war effort by doing so instead of demanding even games, or refusing to play complete stomps. The complete lack of awareness for any objective outside of "getting a game easily without requiring any thought" meant that there was no way the very small number of good players on the Axis side could keep up. Skaffa and Elitegren just can't play enough games a day to balance the 50 massacres that the new guys would give up to Allied stomps by the next time they log on.
On the other hand, the bad players on the Allied side are, for the most part, much more intelligent when it comes to helping out their team. They seemed to have been far more discerning with picking games to join, and would seldom make the same mistake twice. Last night Skaffa, Johnny Austin and I played Nijo, Vertiggo and Jak (after we waiting for over 90 minutes). After they lost do you think they would be caught dead joining against us again? Of course not, they're not idiots. From 5pm-11:30pm EST Skaffa got 1 game, and I got 2. Meanwhile in that same period we had the same 7 or so Axis guys getting stomped by the same 3-6 Allied stack crews. The second the Axis guys finished getting stomped, they would immediately set up another 3v3. When the exact same Allied stack crew would join again, the Axis guys would ready up and repeat the whole process. Despite knowing (or at least they should have learned from the last 40 games they played) that they had ZERO chance of winning, these 3-6 axis guys just kept playing these games back to back.
Now before the warmap, this wouldn't really be a problem. If those guys want to let themselves get stomped over and over, they can go for it. But now we have the problematic situation where those guys getting stomped DIRECTLY affects the abillity of every other Axis player to compete. Because the Allies get to take territories with those easy wins, and thus take significant amount of resources from the Axis to add to their companies. So now the Axis have to log in every morning and take 150-300 munitions/fuel (and sometimes even more) off their company while also having to fight allied companies with that much more to play with.
Do I say this to mean that these crappy Axis players should not play? No. They want to play and I understand that. What I don't understand, however, is how they could have absolutely zero tactical consideration for the fact that every game they lose (when they have no chance of winning) means that they are making the enemy stronger and making themselves weaker (in terms of resource/territory bonuses). It's blatant disregard for the fact that they are ruining the war by not picking decent battles to play, or pressuring the allied stack crews to split up.
We need to somehow educate weaker players that they are ruining the game by not thinking about how to win the war. Letting themselves get stomped is a luxury they shouldn't be allowed to excercise now that the warmap is in because it's not just about them any more.
OR there needs to be some way for a side with lots of bad players to mitigate how much they get screwed over by shitty players. Right now the Allies have such a massive resource advantage due to easy wins that it's pointless for guys like Skaffa, Elitegren or I to even bother trying to fight. We spent a lot of time trying over the past week only to see our efforts rapidly made irellevant.

He didn't meet NugX's AB company.
He met Nugx's AB company who had way more fuel and munitions than Deadbolt possibly could have had.
Is it Deadbolt's fault that, by the time he could play, the Allies had a massive resource advantage? Nope. Is it the allies fault? No. They should be trying to amass as many resources as possible, and to win as much as possible. That's how war works and they understand that. But war doesn't work when one side understands that, and only 5% of the other side does.
People who let themselves get stomped over and over have screwed over the good Axis players to the point where now there is literally no way they can be competitive without stomping (which is hard because only the axis bad players seem willing to let themselves be easily stomped over and over).

I agree with Wind for the most part. After every game I play I come back to launcher and see 2 or 3 games in progress and I see all the axis teams getting stomped pretty much. But we must take into consideration that the new players most likely dont realise (or care) that they are fucking up the axis war effort.
I assume these guys just want to play a game. So they either join or host themselves. They also cant know who is a good player, who is bad, or who is a new player. They just see people joining, you need to be in EIR for a while to realise whos bad and whos good. So you cant expect them to recognise a stomp.
It is the allies that lurk around in the launcher and are ready for the fresh meat, which I must say is plentiful.
I must say you cant really blame them. If there is a 3v3 game up with 2 good players and 1 noob and a 3v3 game with 3 noobs ofcourse they are going to join the weak enemy team. You cant really blame people for not joining a kamikaze game.
The only way to fix this, imo, is to get automatch. You want to play? Join automatch. Everyone is mixed and games should be found a lot easier.

Yeah I agree, automatch is probably the only solution.
That, or mitigating the damage that can be done to one's company/resources as a result of games you were not in.
That would, however, kind of be less like a real war which I don't think is ideal either. But then again you wouldn't have many generals who weren't serious about winning the war in charge of whole companies in a real war either.
It's a conundrum...
