And I remember EiR was working to get the other CoH expansions into it's system, but I couldn't find anything right off the bat about whether or not those are now required to play the mod now. It might be useful to say somewhere on the front page whether or not the expansions or just the first game is nescessary to play.

You don't need any expansions or shit. You can play ith the base game, or even with the stand alone expansions. So EIR:R away!

That's nice. What if someone in my match-up wants to use an expansion I don't have? Does this just mean they will have more units to pick from or do I need the same expansion to play with them?

Exapansions matter not at all. You have acess to every single unit like everyone else. Even the expansion ones. If you don't have opposing fronts, you obviously can't pick british or PE. BUT you can still make a company for brits and PE and still play with the company. Just make the company and pick the US or WHER army and all your uits will be there on field. but some unit abilities and speech files will be messed up but you can still play with them regardless.

You can play any faction you want but if you don't have PE or British unlocked in Vanilla Company of Heroes, you can still play those factions but you wont have Sound Files nor can you build anything nor use any offmaps.
