The game(and the first one) are very difficult, but only because random shit kills you. Beyond that it's largely a memory based game

The guy playing is actually a Fighting game(Street Fighter) pro gamer, not the creator.

Yeah i know but it's got this old school feel to it that we old farts love today.

One thing it has over those old games is the random stuff that can happen rather than the same pattern over n over.

As a connoisseur of this game from back when it was released, I can safely reinforce brn's assertion that it is indeed memory-based. The average first run-through will see you learn every last millisecond in which you must jump or wait or move through painful, painful deaths. Unless you cheat, but there wouldn't be any fun in that, would there?

It's ridiculously fun. Most of the fun though, admittedly, comes from finding the ridiculous ways in which you die.
