As many as it takes to weed out the useless pricks that can't follow a simple set of rules.

hard caps and pools need to be abolished.  Use resources to limit builds.  Change prices or the balance of the tank instead of hardcapping it.  People should be able to build whatever companies they want as long as they have the resources to build them.

And to reply to you tank, while I realize you hate what you call 'spam', many people disagree with your stance, and prefer the term 'fun'.  Unfortunately, you are in a position of power, and thus your opinion wins automatically.

And many others think that the "Fun" spamcompanies you so enjoy take all the fun out of the game, like me...

Cause fuck me, spamcompanies eat balanced ones alive, and having to counter spam with other spam is always fun isnt it? So I'm glad devs opinion wins over yours.

Hard capping a tank makes it cheaper. if you had to raise the price so resources limited builds most heavy tanks would see a major increase in cost e.g. a tiger it's fuel cost would increase by about 350 to 900 to prevent you getting two. Now a tiger isn't worth 900 fuel when you can get 4 p4's for the same fuel. A hard cap is part of the unit it makes it more economical and worth while I personally think hardcaps are  needed

Yeah calbanes, I mean - some people like smokaz are still yet to win a single game, even though they've been around here for years.

What position of power would you be referring to? I am not on the balance team and I am not on the design team. If I actually had any "position of power" all cloak would have been removed ages ago.....lol

Don't confuse the wishes of a small few in the community with that of what the majority feel. Having 2 KT's in a company is not preferred by most.

If this mod disappoints you as much as you claim crazy, then perhaps you would be happier playing OMG. I have yet to see you post anything positive about this mod.

You know I used to think that the majority opinion that designing a better company is an unfair advantage was stupid and should be ignored but now I think the devs here are probably right in what they're doing. This isn't starcraft, the mod won't get more players by pushing for an ultra skill intensive and unforgiving experience where a good players can win the game before it starts by just building a better company. They should work on what they have and what this mod has right now is a lot of casual players and that's how the mod will grow. The player base right now want the game to be decided in the game phase exclusively rather than the company phase and while I think both are equally legit, who am I to tell the devs how to make their game?

Just apply a hard cap to everything, then you can force the game balance through that instead of pricing/pop and nobody can whine.

Hard cap to 4 M8's, 3 M10, 3 M18, etc. No more spam.

Same for infantry, may as well force people to not spam infantry, since you can effectively do that too! Only 12 Rifles/Volks/Grens allowed, fill the rest up with other stuff.

When you remove all pools/hardcaps you get a game were if somone brings a high AT focused company and fight a highly infantry focused company, hes fucked. No chance of victory unless his teammates carry him.

The way it is now the company you bring does have a large factor on the game, but your usually not going to be virtually useless against the enemy.

Basicly what I am saying is games can and will be decided on who brought the counter company, rather than how they actually played that game.

You do know the reason why most hunger strikes fail, while most worker strikes work, right?

I don't see it as hurting anybody - as the exact same thing can be achieved by two players. I'm not going over resource limits. Merely a hardcap I disagree with.

Partly. I'm also saying that there's no other way to get anything done, so that is what you're deferred to by the system.

Exploiting is exploiting and should be dealt with accordingly.

Not sure why there is even a discussion on this.
