I just have the jag for shock factor and to help counter heavy allied tanks but to be honest, no it's not really worth it. The marder does a way better job at killing tanks but can't quite move the line like a jag can. I think that the poor hetzer should receive buffs to be more effective at fighting infantry. I also believe that PE just like brits should get support weapons.
PE is the only faction that you can pretty much call it a loss if all axis choose to play that in a 3v3. Why is this? Quite simple realy and it's called man-packed support weapons! You gave it to the brits to help balance them out and now pe desperately needs this.
When I play PE I know that it's going to be hard for me to hold the line by myself so instead I focus on flanking and helping allied lines. To play against ranger spam you have to keep your mortar ht's alive, as they will get all your kills. This involves drawing people in to sit and fight you while they get mortar all to hell. Honestly this shouldn't be the only way to fight that but sadly it is. You can also mine spam but that only works for one game until people figure out what you're doing. Bottom line is PE needs some love in the way of man packed support weapons/better base stats to current systems.

Your playstyle is flawed in a 3v3. I find myself fairly content in a 3v3 as PE especially if two of my allies are both Wehrmacht. I can ensure myself to donate my mobile AT to aid them and use infantry as a meatshield, of course that entirely depends on my company but I prefer most of all Tank hunters. Cooldown buffs and well buffed Marders and a jagdpanther in reserve can tease allies quite a lot. The only thing you will hate though is 57mms. Panzer Elite's only reliable counter vs 57mm spam is mortar halftrack and needless to say its range makes it laughable and its armor makes you facepalm.
Though, rangers and Jumbos...makes you weep no matter what.

If you spam marders you are actually filling a role wehr don't fill outside of geschutz from terror, so this is very useful in a 3v3. It's however when your inf tries to do the job of the wehr infantry (no grenades for instance) that things start to fail.

Yeah an all PE party is not one that takes place in your pants but in your anus. Also, magnetic AT grenades are great and will make a bad day for any allied armor.
Did we change the flame nade to have initial dmg on impact? If not then it should, as it would help solve the issue like smokers was saying.
